That's right, Manchine (Jarrett & Jessica) visited the beautiful country of Japan. The reason we went was because Jessica won a round-trip airline ticket from a Japanese speech contest at Arizona State University. She won first place in her category, and first place over-all. She did a wonderful job. This was an excellent opportunity for us to get out of the country and see and experience something new and different, and boy howdy, is Japan different. Japan is arguably one of the most advanced countries on Earth, excelling in technology and culture. In times of the past, America and Japan fought fiercely against each other, but I am happy that at this present age we are close friends and allies, and can travel between our great countries. If you ever get an opportunity to go, I'd definitely recommend it. Plan the trip as much as possible though, and bring a lot of money. Also, practice your Japanese because not as many people speak English as we would like to think. This portion of the Manchine site is dedicated to our trip, displaying pictures and videos of our different experiences. Take your time, and try and imagine how much fun we had.
